When the weekend arrives, settle in with your close friends in our Adirondack chairs or at our picnic tables, surrounded by our apple, peach, and apricot orchards with brilliant Warwick Valley views. Spend an afternoon outdoors listening to the Hudson Valley’s accomplished, as well as up-and-coming, musical artists.

Get your daily dose of healthy yoga vibes and top that off with an up-close-and-personal meeting with furry and friendly goats from Totes Goats LLC. And we mean really top that off…Totes Goats may join you in your postures. Some may take a moment to strike a pose on your back! The Goat Yoga Workshop will be held at Pennings Farm Cidery, located directly behind Pennings Farm Market.
Totes Goats yoga sessions are instructed by certified yoga instructors who lead you through a one hour long yoga sequence and introduce you to the cutest goats around! The Vinyasa yoga session is followed by a 30 minute meet and greet with photo opportunities that allow guests time for relaxing and striking a pose with the goats. Meet Shay, Mica, Joeybagadonuts, Mini Mocha, Baby Bells and Coconut! Sometimes special guests, like Duncan the adorable pig joins his goat friends for a visit. After yoga practice and the goat social, stick around for some cider.
Hudson Valley Cider Week
Every June we collaborate with other Hudson Valley Cideries for this week-long celebration of America’s first libation: hard apple cider. We host a series of events including live music, special can releases, cider tastings, pairing events, cider talks and orchard tours. Check back in June for a complete list of the week’s events and activities.
Our cidery is nestled in one of the Hudson Valley’s most hike-able areas complete with scenic vistas. Hike Fest brings together the very best of the communities that are connected by our vast trail systems in celebration of outdoor recreation, agriculture, craft beverage production, culture and music.
There are more than 40 communities along the Appalachian Trail’s corridor that have been recognized in the Appalachian Trail Community Program. These towns, including Warwick, NY, Harlem Valley (Dover & Pawling, NY), Blairstown Area – Warren County, NJ, Delaware Water Gap, PA are considered assets by all that use the A.T., and many of these towns act as good friends and neighbors to the Trail. As a visitor on the Trail, you can enjoy special events and promotions in these designated areas.
Fest For Us
Once a year we open the farm to celebrate their mission of #farmFORLIFE with a Hoedown Hootenanny Honky Tonk Get Down party.
After the last apple has been picked from The Orchard at Pennings Cidery, it is the time of year to come together to give thanks for the season’s bounty and what it’s brought to our rural community.
Fest For Us is an annual party recognizing the importance of community, local businesses and organizations that each contribute to the well-being and prosperity of Warwick, NY and its surrounding towns. It’s a time to meet our neighbors in a relaxed yet spirit-filled setting to indulge in the fruits of our ramped-up fall labor, camaraderie and to give special attention to the local services that serve and protect us. Fest For Us is a reminder to recognize Warwick’s First Responders including the Warwick Ambulance Corps and Warwick Town Police for all that they do to keep our community safe and healthy. Partial proceeds from the event benefit those local First Responders.
Warwick Valley Turkey Trot
The annual 5k and 1 mile fun run takes place through The Orchard at Pennings Cidery the weekend before Thanksgiving. The event is produced by Maple Events LLC. The course starts along the picket white fence of the Cidery lawn and heads first through the Peach Grove. A turn up the hill takes you further into the orchard, first past the newest apple trees and then up and down the rows of Macintosh. Find your way through the woods into the fields at the very top of the orchard complete with orchard views.
Enjoy some well deserved cider and apple cider donuts at the finish line!
Holiday Pop Up Markets
The pop-up market falls somewhere between traditional brick-and-mortar shopping and online shopping due to the intimate setting. Shoppers can meet the artisans and learn first-hand about their art and their creative process, making the act of gift-giving more of an experience. When a gift comes directly from the hands of local makers at pop-up shops, it transforms from just a tangible object. There is always a story to accompany local made art and gift-givers will make an impact with heartfelt presents.
Shoppers can expect to procure unique gifts from an extensive selection of locally made items from local artisans, including jewelry, clothing & accessories, functional art for the home, body care products and oils.
